Nice gun show find!!

We'll have to hear from Wrong Way on this, but I never saw a 21 inch barrel back then.
Also, I thought sure it would be marked, "Husky," but it is not.
Where are you Ted?

Won't you need them to fit your Tasco 3x9x50 on your 7400?
.

Naw, I use these instead...:D

The 5000 series was marked Husky,it had a longer barrel. The 4000/4100 were the lightweights. They shared barrel lenght with the helstocks (fullstock/manlicher)rifles.

The model Paul snagged is the 4100, the true Husqvarna Featherweight. They have 20 1/2 inch barrels.

The "Husky" is the model 5000 and has a 22 inch barrel with a much heavier contour over the chamber. It is often referred to as the Featherweight, but the barrel weighs quite a few ounces more, and the stock is heavier as well.

Both are nice rifles.

At another site, mention has been made of whats best typified as poor show quality, concerning what's available. Admittedly, a lot of 'it' is same old same old and much of the purpose may be the social factor. Get there early though, and there are some goodies to be had. The last three shows have netted me, in order, a mint 303Br. Jungle Carbine, a model 71Winchester Deluxe and a Ruger Single Six, flat loading gate model. :)My bank account may be complaining but I'm not;):p.

Johnn, you've got a good point. I commented on the people complaining about the high cost of everything at the Kamloops gun show. I said a good many of those complaining about the prices, just didn't understand the firearm they were looking at. In other words, they couldn't recognize a good buy.
I saw some classic rifles at Kamloops that I would state were as good a bargain as Super Cub got.
We are forever hearing people complaining about the price of used guns being as much as new ones. This type of person probably would look at the rifle SC got and said, "Six hundred dollars, I could get a new Savage for that!"
