Ive been looking for a muzzle brake for my Savage 10 FCP-SR. Not because I really "need" it. But I like how they look and it cant hurt. I liked the brake on my 10BA and the FCP-SR has the same barrel. But good luck finding a brake that will fit for under $250-300... which i cant afford. So I was looking around on ebay and found this:

They are hand made from high quality material. He will do a parkerized finish if you ask as well so it will better match my barrel. You can also have him NOT step the back end of the brake if your barrel is larger than the stepped diameter. They come with a crush washer also.
I ordered one with 5/8-24 threads for .308 calibre in black. Cost $90 shipped. I think the design makes sense in terms of actually lessening muzzle rise but like I said, even if it doesnt work, it will finish of the front of my gun perfectly. Just thought id pass on this find for anyone else looking for something similar. Ill post a review and some pics when I actually get it in my hands.
