I bought a set of these on Gunbroker and It arrived today. Very handy for your M1 Carbine. Cheap solution and only $4.05 for shipping. I thought it would be okay to share this information because aacollectible or no one else that I could find on Gunnutz sells these kits.

I don't get it, what's it for? Pardon my M1 ignorance...Ok, the strippers and bandoleer I can handle, but what are "cardboards?", and what is the charger/loader?

No problem with customs. The cardboards are an open ended box which the loaded stripper fits into inside the bandoleer pockets. The charger/loader fits over the top rear edge of the magazine. Slip the loaded stripper clip inside and push down on the rounds to load into the magazine.

Cheap Solution

"...Cheap solution..." A solution to what? Just curious.
I might be wrong, but using clips to fill your magazine is a cheaper solution than buying extra mags, i have read somewhere that M1 Carbine ammo was issued in bandoliers, but i have never seen a picture of a carbine bandolier, all wartime photos of U.S. troops with M1 Carbines always seem to carry there ammo in ammo pouches either attached to the stock or on a web belt around the waist, lots of pictures of U.S. troops with bandoliers of .30 cal. ammo for the Garand, same as Canadian troops with banoliers of .303 ammo,a interesting find:) :)

ww2 .30 carbine ammo was packed in 50 rnd cardboard boxes 48 boxes to a case (2400)

1948 they went to the 10 rnd stripper clip 12 strippers to a badoliers 5 bandoliers per ammo can (600rnds)
