I am pleasantly surprised at how well my CZ American 527 shoots the 45gr Hornady hornet bullet. Did 4 loads starting at 10.5gr. of LILGun finishing at 11.9gr. All 4 loads gave acceptable accuracy with things tightening up nicely at 11.5 and one ragged hole at 11.9. As is customary with me , I always start to giggle when the one hole grouping starts happening.but managed to hold it together and add the 4th round in the empty space. For my style of shooting the hornet is a 125 to 150 yard rifle. And I loaded these a little longer than my manual calls for at 1.800. SX

Mine shot very well out of the box, but a K-hornet is what I had in mind when I purchased this rifle. So that's what it became
My bullet of choice is 40 grain polymer tip. V-max work well as do blitz kings and ballistic tips
I believe the specks I have say 12-13 grains of little gun, 12 being what I chose for best accucary... It's a one ragged hole kinda thing
I also went with a longer overall length and the cz mags can be modified to accommodate this by removing the plastic spacer and shaving it down

I had a BRNO ZKW 465 in 22 K-Hornet, and my accuracy load with the 45 grain .223" bullet was 12.3 grains of lil'gun.

Generally could put 5 into 5/8" or so at 100M. Nice little cartridge. Gophers out to about 175 yards really hated it, :)

Dave.

Hey FS, looking for any more bullets? Mine hates everything but 40 gn V-max, I think I have a box or 2 of the 45 gn Horn hornet bullet which is of no value to me.

Very thoughtful of you kind sir, let me send you some 40 gr vmax's for your kindness or some of the ever popular green tipped Zmax.
Thanks FS
