I bought a Model 12 at the Regina show this weekend. It had an odd muzzle break (according to my limited experience). I looked at it more carefully and found it to be a Weaver FC.
The shotgun itself is rather a nice one, 1932 vintage, with serial number in the 655### range, with a matching # on the barrel. Nicely configured wood with a good Redhead recoil pad installed. I'll get Deaner to clean the old girl up a bit and I'll take it out to give it a whirl. I an curious to see what the muzzle brake will do. I have another Model 12, 1954, without a brake.
