It's a pain for 50 boxes, but for $100, I spent the time. Winchester just notified me that my rebate has been processed. Hopefully the rebate is in US funds as it was the last time.
I just cut the UPC code from the flat of shells no need to cut it out of every box unless you didn't purchase a whole flat. This way you can save the boxes for your reloads.
I never did an they sent me a cheque in the mail. Maybe they made some changes its been a couple years now since I bought AA I'm now using STS much nicer shell for reloading but never a rebate from Remington
It's definitely a pain. Fortunately I had a bunch of spare AA boxes and a MEC EZ-Park around from my reloading days. Send UPC from new boxes, repackage shells in the old ones.
I started to cut the codes from the big boxes until I read the rebate form again. I normally never purchase AA shotshells, but with the sale at WSS, and the rebate, I decided to buy some in 410 to build up my supply of hulls for reloading.
Try a little narrower slice .... I should think the "numeral" part of the code + a thinner section of the actual bar code would be enough .... say a strip maybe 3/8 - 1/2" wide, just enough to identify the product, yet not wide enough to allow shells to escape from the boxes.
