Hello fellows,

Which model, in your opinion, is the nicest Norinco 1911 pistol currently available?

Thanks

My vote goes to the lastest batch of Norc1911 Government.
The blueing is the best vs the older ones and its the purest representation of the original model.
Oh yah....get it from Armco with Gunnar's TLC.
My bias has nothing to do with the fact I just picked one up from him;)

Norc police models from Can am!

Definitely a +1 on the Police model (either the two-tone or blued). How can the price/value be beat with ambidex and beavertail included. All that, plus the usual tough dependable Norinco steel. Am already waiting for CanadaAmmo's re-stock to arrive this summer. Happy shopping to us all!!!!

Nicest 1911 Norinco ? stock or modded..........:)

Latest version of the bone stock 1911A1 .45ACP after it's been tuned via Armco.

My .02..... your mileage may vary.

NAA.

Nice? Norcs aren't meant to be nice. Norcs are solid, reliable, accurate, unglamorous ammo pigs. They'll eat literally thousands of rounds and not even show wear in the places you would expect to see wear and still shoot with the best factory guns. I personally think a Police model (from CanAm) that's been sent to finishing school at Armco would be the coolest - but it still wouldn't be 'nice'. Nice guns go in the safe, Norcs go to the range - every time ;)

Did someone just say "nice", and "Norinco" in the same sentence? And they weren't insinuating that Norcs make "nice" doorstops?

I haven't found a Norc that works, yet - Three for three: Pieces of crap.

YMMV - I wish you the best of luck.

^^exactly why I got the Norc!
Don't really care if it gets scuffed up and didn't want a safe queen. Just wanted it to go bang everytime so figured an Armco tuned 1911 was the ticket. The basic .45acp blued Government model still gets my vote. I've got a 1000 rounds to start feeding it as soon as it arrives:)

Amen!
I've got a newer 1911a1, and a blued police model.
