Nicest .357 mag Revolver NOT GP100!

While I love my GP100 so far, if I had the money and I'd I could find it, the S&W 686 SSR is dead ###y and I'd love to add it to my collection.

Smith and Wesson 586 if you want blued, but the 686 looks great and shoots fantastic and its easy to keep clean. I reallly want the 686 SSR but not sure if it has the Canadian 4.2" barrel or not.

I have a S&W 27 that I purchased used; the old ones are really well made and it shoots like a dream. My newest SMith is about 10 years old; I fired a S&W 686 the other week and jerked the trigger on the first pull since the trigger has about 2 1/2 lbs on my older ones. That being said, I like the new 4.2" 686's and a trigger job would solve the only problem I saw.

I've got a 4" GP 100 and a 6" S&W 686. They are both awesome guns and point/shoot naturally. I bought the Ruger 1st and then got a deal on the 686 from a buddy.

I like them both. No contest.

If you want a really 'nice' revolver, you could always try to hunt down/import a Manurhin M73

Or a Korth...
