Nicest looking wheelgun on the market? (current production)

'Bits of Pieces' did the work.
The good: The cost was substantially less than the next quoted price (as in 60% less).
The bad: He had it for 7months and there were marks which weren't there before. If I wasn't "hands-on" capable I'd have been very upset, but I knew I could clean it up and at a steal of a deal.

Funny, when you mentioned the marks in your first post Barry popped into my head...
I think guns are just tools to him, I watched him plunk my rifle on his metal table top right in front of me while we were discussing the work to be done.
It's stainless and came back with extra scratches as well after a long wait
In the end he never charged me for his "custom" work but that's another story.....:kickInTheNuts:

Would you retool your plant knowing that some Canadian legislator/bureaucrat could make the legal minimum 4.5 inches faster than a heartbeat??

If I was worried about that I'd make sure my plant could easily make what ever barrel length I needed or wanted to sell.
I hardly think a plant would need to be re tooled to put out a 4.25" barrel.

These are the nicest looking wheel guns in my opinion:

Those pics make me want to sand blast my ruger... I truly love that finish (but scratches are an eyesore once they occur). That .44 is ###y. ###ier IMO without the comp.

Eeeesh. Now I know, thanks. I thought maybe my gun was just a bad experience for the man. But yea, it had indents all over the place from where it looked like it was gripped with vise-teeth, multiple times. The muzzle end also looked like it was cut with a hacksaw, absolutely, shockingly-horrific! The crown was nice though. In the end, the only saving grace was knowing that I paid 1/3 the price another shop wanted for the same work.

It's probably the last time I have custom work done by him. But in his defense, he did make nice non-restricted CX4 barrels.

Colt Frontier Six Shooter

I ordered this from Colt in March. It will be heading my way soon. From their Custom Shop.

It is in 44-40, has factory level "A" engraving, 5 1/2" barrel and ivory grips. For me this is the nicest looking wheelgun on the market today.

Beautiful Gun!!!!
How are you getting it into Canada?

I traded my old grips to a CGN member for these grips... Love it! As close to an Alaskan as we are ever going to get in Canada:
