Tried my hand at plating some 7.62x39 Russian stuff. Do I get more FPS or less?

Did you do the plating on live rounds? Or did you pull the components and reassemble? I know they are typically sealed with lacquer around the primer and bullet... but I've never tested the effectiveness of it before

They are live rounds. Would have seen some bubbles if water got in I assume.
