Night Sights for 590

Hey guys,

Im in a bit of a jam for this. I currently have a Mossberg 590A1 SPX. I want to find tritium night sights to replace the fiber optic front sight and ghost ring rear.

LPA does make replacements for this, but they wont export tritium to canada.

Do any of you know where i can find said sights or have a contact who can source me these?

I'm gonna go out on a limb here, but I think Tac Ord stocks LPA ghost rings... not sure if that's what you're after, but at the very least you could see if they'd be able to order them in for you, assuming they don't stock it. That seems to be the best way around these things: Find a company that deals with the manufacturer you want, and see if you can make a custom order. LPA might just be worried about regulations and liabilities... if they ship it directly to you, they might be at fault. If they ship it to a reputable dealer, then I believe the responsibility is off them.

Unfortunately, I can't remember who on this site is from Tactical Ordinance... I saw it this morning though.

My only other suggestions (assuming you've tried the other site sponsors who stock tactical shotgun products) would be Brownells or Tactical Shotgunner, both on the other side of the border. My understanding is that both will ship up here, although I haven't personally dealt with either.
 
Here's another option you could look into: Glow in the Dark sights. You get some major advantages, particularly the minimal costs.

He is going to see if he can get some after shot show, but he didn't make any promises on the issue. Said it's real hit or miss. Just trying to keep my options open.
 
i didn't want to make a new thread for my question. but does anyone know if any of these will work with the LPA style sights on the Mossberg 590A1 SPX?
 
Wait, LPA won't ship tritium to Canada? Did you contact the US arm of the operation? They're an Italian company, don't think the europeans have any qualms about shipping that stuff but the americans can with all the ITAR regs.

I have asked them, and they haven't gotten back to me on the issue.

This is an interesting idea. Will I get in trouble for importing this though?
