night sights for my Glock 17, yes or no

Hey everybody,,

I was just wonedering about putting a set of night sights on my Glock 17 ,my question is, were is a good place to get a set , and is trijicon a good brand to go with ,

I have Trijicon Night sights on my Glock 22 and to be frank, you really don't need them. Glock stock sights are just fine. I mean really, do you find yourself shooting in the dark that frequently?
 
Go for the Trueglo TFO's. They are amazingly bright in daylight because of the fiberoptics and very bright at night because of the tritium.

In my experience, XS sights are the best sights for close to mid range shooting. They're a lot faster to get on target and for shooting multiple targets quickly than traditional 3 dot sights. BTW, you can order XS sights from Lone Wolf Distributors.
 
Glocks come perfect don't do anything to it but shoot it....Its all about reliability with this gun , no extended this or glow in the dark sh*t, for what???? get a tac light ....spend the money on ammo and training rather than useless stuff
 
Geez! The man asked about night sights, not personal opinions on why he should'nt get them.

Glock OEM Trijicons are fantastic. Sturdy, ###y, and faithful. My Glock is in a pitch black safe for weeks sometimes and they always come out shining like magic.

Tritium night sights are usually made of steel, require no batteries and have an average life of 10+ years. Most night sights also offer improved performance during the day due to design and colour selection, such the Xs sights or the TFO's. A white light is a good option but they are electronic and can fail. Not to mention not all pistols are capable of mounting a light.

I got Trijicon Night Sights for all of my Glocks, They came from Brownells. They're reasonably priced which make it a nice upgrade from the cheap plastic factory sights. I like the solid look and feel of a steel sight over plastic, it adds to my peace of mind. The glow in the dark aspect makes it way easier to acquire a target in low light conditions, IE home defense....
 
The glock I'm looking at getting has the tru-glow tritium sites. They look good and strong. They are easy to pick up in ALL light conditions, including pitch dark. My club has low light inside and they would be a big bonus there.
