I'm not going to apologize for having at least one trusty tool that incorporates a feature that could potentially increase the chances of target acquisition in low light conditions
Outdoor range, 4+ months of the year if you wanna shoot after work, its DARK. Weapon light to illuminate target works awesome, but still can't see the sights if they don't glow...
Actually once you illuminate the target with a wml, the night sights are generally irrelevant as the dots are too dim to show up well against the spill of the light.
Fortunately the back lighting is usually sufficient to get a pretty pristine sight picture with whatever sights.
I like them for the improved contrast, especially at the range. Green sights shooting at white targets is easier for me than white sights shooting at white targets.
Guys, what purpose do night sights serve shooting at targets on a range in Canada? Personally I find regular three dot colour sights a distraction. If CCW was an option I can understand. Anyone care to elaborate. Thanks
Late afternoon winter range day, dim light heading toward dark, black sights against black target...great time for night sights. Got Trijicons on my Glock - perfect sight picture, no matter what the lighting conditions.
