Every now and then, I get the idea of wanting a set of night vision binoculars. This usually happens after spending 3-4 hours sitting in a lawn chair, observing a field or feeder with a monocular. I’ve been considering both the N-vision Atlas 50mm and 25mm night vision binoculars, as well as the GTMEDIA N4 night vision binoculars.
If anyone out there uses either of these binoculars and has any experience or insights to share, please let me know. I’d greatly appreciate any feedback or recommendations.
Thanks!

The GTMedia ones look interesting for a 'low-cost' unit. The reviews on Amazon.ca mostly are OK. And you can always return if not good enuf. Better than $2K+ for 'Mil=spec' Night vision. I might try them too, just to watch for the neighbour's cats. 😄

I got a pair of some cheap Amazon ones as a gift last year. In the $100-150 range.

I honestly thought they were going to be ŝhit, but I was amazed how well they work and how much detail they can see. In the back I have clear sight up to 300yds and a lot of thick bush as well. And I have no issues looking around and seeing a lot like in daylight. The digital zoom is meh, gets grainy a bit at max.

Don't have any other ones to compare to, but for the money I'd say it's a great buy.

Get a pair and try it out. If you dont like it, return it and get a fancier one if you have the cash.

A friend of mine has the Atlas 25mm and really likes it for walking and scanning because it’s lighter and more compact. The 50mm gathers more light and gives a bit more reach, but it also comes with extra weight and cost. Before buying, it might be worth reading a guide about choosing the right binoculars so you can decide whether portability or maximum performance is more important for your use.
