Someone today suggested I research and consider a Nightforce scope for the rifle. Quickly had a look at the web site and saw two that were interesting but don't know the difference.
Can anyone tell me the difference between the NXS and the Benchrest models:confused:
I was looking for a High mag. scope that,ll stand up to a 50. Currently using a fixed 10X Swarvski.
Wanna get farther away from the targets, got someone that can get me into the local Military long range on a regular basis.
thanks

The NXS is nightforces robust military version it has thicker tubing and 1/4 minutes adjustments with 100 min of elevation the NXS also comes with side focus and longer eye relieve. Vs. the BR model which stands for Bench rest. The scope doesn't have the same robustness of the NXS it has 1/8 adjustments and 50 min of elevation the focus adjustment is on the objective and a shorter eye relief.

Tevor said it all,I was at Connaught ranges last year and talked with a lot of American F class shooters there choice was Nightforce the reason being tough and no problems, but most of all when you have to adjust for conditions, they told me there are no lag in adjustments like a lot of other scopes
I ordered my benchrest from http://www.rockymountainrifles.com/home.php
nice people and sharp prices
