Nightforce SHV 3-10x42 or Sightron SIII 3.5-10x44

Well, I cannot say about theses 2, but I have a SIII and a NXS in 8-32.
Glass seems very comparable
There is nothing I can see in one that I cannot in the other in any conditions. But I find the mirage easier to read with the NXS.
But the NXS is built a lot stronger.

Did you end up getting either scope? I am trying to decide between the shv 4-14x56 or a sightron in the 6-24 or 8-32 range. I would probably enjoy more magnification but I like the nightforce reticle more than the sightron from what I have viewed online. Haven't looked through either scope though
 
Haven't bought either one as of yet....I like the sightron LRMOA reticle on my SIII 8-32, was just hoping for some hands on comparisons between the two. Surely someone on Gunnutz must have compared them.
