I've done a search, nothing came up.
I'm new to scopes, recently looked at a used Nightforce Varminter. Variable, 5 something to 20 something x 56 ?
I assume its an older scope. Glass seemed real nice. Reticle seemed kind of odd, simple crosshairs, across the bottom were different sized circles with yardages ? 200, 300 etc. as though you could use them for ranging ?
I'm a cheap a$$ but do appreciate nice glass (price was attractive). Would go on a Ruger No. 1 in 6.5 x 47 Lapua. Primarily for Hi-power Silhouette, maybe try some longer range, maybe PRS.
Anyone able to tell me more about this scope ?

If your considering PRS of any type youll require FFP and not SFP. The terms are front focal plane and second focal plane. FFP scopes have small reticles on low power and increase in size with increase in magnification range. They can be used for ranging at any power and the adjustments are constant at any power. Second focal plane have a retical that remains the same size at any magnification. They are usually only able to range at a certain magnification with a different colour or indicator found on the magnification ring numbers. Quite often 10X. Adjustments in second focal plane will give different values for the magnification settings. Ie if you required to raise your bullet impact with FFP the change would be the same no matter what the power setting on the scope is. However it will be different on the SFP at each different power setting. In PRS you may shoot numerous targets at different distances and that would be very difficult with a Second Focal Plane optic. Im assuming the scope your looking at is the SHV model. Theyre made in 4-14x56 and 5-20X56. Theyre available either Illuminated or non illuminated. The models that are FFP have an F1 desination in the model number. I have owned two of them and was very satisfied with both. I hope Ive helped and not confused,
