I have a Remington 870 that I slowly converted from a bird gun to a tacticool shotgun. I have well over 7000+ rounds through the tube and it still shoots awesome. I have been doing a lot of research in the Nighthawk custom 870 and other than the accessories they install for you, I don’t understand what you are getting for the custom price of a nighthawk.

They say that the action is custom honed for reliable feeding and smoother operation. My well used 870 has flawless feeding and beyond slick pump operation.

Does anybody own one that can chime in?
 
Are you for real? It says Nighthawk on the side and is 3 times the price, so it absolutely has to be better. You ought to be ashamed of yourself for even thinking that a Wingmaster that has never malfunctioned can compare to such a work of art. Men are no better than teenage girls when it comes to brand association and their toys. (I will be the first to admit that there are some brands I automatically gravitate to)

Brand association is basically burned into our brains from day 1. Hard habit to break.
 
"...says Nighthawk on the side and is 3 times the price..." Anything that's aftermarket "tactical" is like that. The marketing types laugh all the way to the bank. The term used to be Law Enforcement. Sold all kinds of Winchester rifles and Mossberg shotguns with 'LE' in the name.

Some guys are willing to pay for someone else to get the action slicker 'n' whale #### in an ice flow for them. And the trigger... And the cool paint job... And the shell carrier... Oh! And the disco sights...

Not defending. Just saying.

I run a Mossy 590SPX outta the box myself. $650.00 after GST.

I own a 870 Tac and a night hawk , the night hawk is very accurate with slugs and patterns great as well. I was thinking when I ordered one that it was a mistake but when I started using it I changed my mind quick.
 
Why buy a nighthawk 1911 when theres norinco, you have the cash and want something not too many others have. Theres a market for everything in the firearms world.
 
a custom hand fit 1911 takes skill.

a 'custom' 870 does not. I build my own 870's. I would not hand fit a 1911 myself. The 1911 builder shotgun racket is a funny thing. People that know how to work over an 870 go WTF? but the 1911 customers eat it up.
 
If tou want a more tactical shotgun send yours to casey and tac ords and he'll make it just like a nighthawk for a fraction of the price.

Sure Casey can do it , but buy a bone stock 870 police and send it to Casey to get everything done to it like night hawk offers and you see a price tag total of around $2000
 
I cannot speak to the NH 870, but their 1911's are far above any other "production" 1911's in all aspects.

Mine was shipped with a single black and a single grey beard hair, the grey one can be used to replace the slide spring after 15 000 rounds. The black hair cures cancer and zombieism, as well as providing power for a perpetual motion machine.

An NHC 870 is on my list to get at some point. If fired simultaneously into the air with my Costa 1911, the projectiles will create a tear in the space time continuim and you'll actually shoot yourself where you're standing.....not the real you, but another you in a parellel dimension.

It's all very complicated.....

if this 870 was to be held and used by Chuck Norris, all the world's women would spontaneously orgasm.....all the men too
