I would hope Nighthawk can create the serial number to conform to the UN regulations when building it.

You need to re-read he UN marking regs. Unfortunately Nighthawk has no say in the matter as the markings are to be applied once in Canada, with in the first 60 days after import. This obviously diminishes value to collectors as it is not a factory marking and has compromised the finish.

Nothing says it has to be done AFTER it arrives in Canada. It only sets a date that it must be completed before.
