Love all things Nighthawk but is this $5000 1911 5 times better then a $1000 1911? A lot of luxury items, unfortunately, provide diminishing returns.

Agreed...they should be .45 as God intended...although 10mm is acceptable

Straight trigger is a disappointment on an otherwise nice looking gun. 9mm makes it even better!

It's nice, but not 5K nice. For shootability, I'm sure a well tuned Trojan would run neck to neck with it. I prefer the straight triggers and have added them to all my 1911's. Dead ###y lines though.

Not sure I agree with this...I'm kinda there on 9mm ...but in .40 are fantastic...have 2 now...the new bul and an omega6.
