I bought a howa talon and it came with a nikko stirling scope and i was just wondering what kind of scope they were good or just a throw away scope anyone have any experience with them?
 
I have a Nikko "Diamond" 3-9x44 with a 30mm tube. I've had it for about 7-8 years.
It's been dropped hard several time and has been on a magnum the whole time.
Once I thought I broke it, but the gun was screwed instead, fixed the gun and the scope is still working perfect.
Optics are quite bright too.
 
What we see here as a Tasco Super Sniper also gets labelled as a Nikko in other markets .. but the Nikko label is also seen on a variety of scopes (including many variables)
 
I haven't been impressed by these scopes,I witnessed the crosshairs on one fall apart when being used on a 338winmag.The warranty scope also suffered the same fate after a few hundred rounds.
