I want to buy a new scope for my 223. This rifle is specificly for coyote hunting. I was looking at a bushnell in the 5-15 power range with mil dots. I then got looking at a Nikkon Coyote Special with it's BDC retical specific for a 223 with 55gr bullets. All I've ever used is a regular crosshair, but want to go to some type of BDC retical. Looking for feedback on the Coyote Special reticle as compared to Mil Dots as compared to ..............Suggestions??

I am usually shooting them as they pass. Ussually at about 200 yards or less, but on occasion they are sitting out at 350 to 400 yards and I want to start trying a few shots out to that range. I have tested my rifle out to 300 yards and have a load that will shoot sub MOA at that range. The limiting factor is my ability to hit a 6" target that is moving and unpredictable, but I'm working on that.

Thanks. George
