Nikon action extreme binos

Not sure if these are waterproof versions of the basic Action series which I own, but if they are, then get them. Great glass for a decent price!

Whatever it is that you choose in the end, try to make sure it is a watertight design to keep water out of the inards (water inside a bino can cause it to go foggy for a long time). I can't use mine in the rain/snow for long, and now I wish I payed the extra $ for better weather resistance.
Cheers.

I have a pair Nikons 10x50 that have been a problem they have been sent back to nikon for repairs twice, got myself a pair of Minox these are some binoculars

Buds I'd be interested in your critique of the Minox. I have a buddy looking at a pair for his boat. 7X50's or higher. Cheers

I have been using a set of 12X50 Action Extreme binos and they are superb.

Their glass would rate very well against the mega dollar binos. Supposed to be weather proof too but have not tested in weather.

I use it as a LR spotter and have no issue resolving the wild grass that grows in my area at 1000m. Very 'comfortable' optics.

Had them side by side some fancy Euro binos. while at a 1000m shoot. Response from shooters that looked through both - Nikon was better!

As a larger, but still quite light binos, you are going to need the very best binos in the world to top them. For the price, simply insane.

There is no comparison to the other Action binos. The Extreme is the one to choose.

i have used a pair of 8X32 for the last 4 years, carry everyday for about 6 months at a time. Great glass, good close focus, clear and bright. They have shi*&^ty eye cups, they screw right off to easy.
