nikon bdc reticle

The circles are awesome as they give you more "information points".

Top of 2nd circle is so and so. Bottom of 2nd circle is so and so. I replaced a Zeiss BDC with the Nikon as I much prefer it to a whole bunch of hash marks.

When your hunting seconds count. I can throw that up and know exactly what I want to do quickly.

Ditto here!

I like Nikon scopes, have a couple, but only plex reticle. Sold the only one I had with the BDC. Just liked hash marks instead of circles. Spot On app worked good too. but prefer the rapid z 600 reticle that's on my 308.

I find the Nikon BDC reticle good for hunting, average for everything else. Its just too heavy / thick for target and long distance shooting. But for the 100-200 metre buck or sub 100 metre rimfire shot it is okay.

Candocad.

I have a Pro staff BDC 3-9 x40 on my .243. I like the scope but not real fond of the circles, would prefer hash marks instead. I have tested the Spot on app with different ammo and it proved to be quite accurate assuming correct ballistics data entry.
