who has any experience with Nikons BDC retical for the 223? I like the rimfire one, just curious how the glass is. ive yet to find one to peek through

I have a buckmaster with their BDC .....Little bubbles reticle. What makes it good is the "spot on" on line ballistic calculator.

Basically you can input chrony speeds or factory ammo and print out exactly how the BDC hits. ie: second bubble is 223 yards, for brand X ammo.

The buckmaster is a lower scope than a prostaff and very clear. Nikon optics are some of the best bang for the buck in Kanada, with a report of good warranty support.

I have a Nikon Omega 3-9x40mm that has the BDC reticle. Decent scope for the money - robust, very clear and bright with ample eye relief. It's on my 416 Ruger Alaskan -

I'm currently running a coyote active target special with BDC and for the price it's incredible glass. Loads of eye relieve, crisp and clear. I also have to agree with nowarningshot that the best part about it is the spot on app, plug in the ammo you're using and all the guess work is gone. Would definitely recommend

If you're working within a budget I would not hesitate, are there better ones out there? Of course there are but you'd pay much much more. If this is just meant for a coyote rig and some plinking you will not be dissapointed
Josh.
