Nikon Buckmaster scopes?

Hey all, I am looking for a scope for my 308 and notice the Nikon buckmaster 6-18 for 399. I havent heard alote about these scopes and was wondering who had one, and how well they are holding up. Thanks,

I got one on my AR. I love it, call it my poor mans Leupold. No problems so far.

The glass is second to none, easily the equal of a VX-III. However, I'm not much of a fan of the reticles, and the mechanical repeatability may not be quite as good. They're well worth the $400; I rather suspect if it had a Leupold tag on it with no other changes whatsoever, it'd be selling for upwards of $700

Got a 3-9x50 on my 10/22 and think its great. Nice clear optics. Had one into the warranty depot in Surrey B.C. with no problems and no charges. Go for it!

just mounted a buckmaste 4-12x 50 with SF on my 270 WSM and seems very clear, comparing to my leupy. i don't think you'd be disapointed. i have 3 nikon pro staff's and haven't had a problem with any of them.

I would wonder about the warranty. Is it as no fuss and solid as Leupold's?
