If the glass is close to monarch glass it would be a good deal, however cabela's can. lists them for $399 new. Just got my 2nd monarch and love it, but have never looked thru the yote special.
These are great scopes and we have had no problems with them. These are not Monarch, probably Buckmaster quality. We sell them new at $381 for matte and $397 for camo. Phil.
IMO superior glass trumps magnification. If your going to spend $400 on a scope with buckmaster glass you might want to think of getting a monarch with a little less magnification for the same price but of much higher quality.

Absolutely! Even with my humble leupold VX-II with 1-4x, I can make out details that I can't see with my entry level bushnell 3-9x at just about any range.
