World of difference between a Nikon AG & Nikon Tiawanese.

I acquired a Nikon M Tac 308 on an ArmaLite Ar-10 A deal.
Fired 10 rounds
Noticed the windage & elevation turret gradient hash marks had changed/rotated.

I removed the turret knobs & to my amazement the gradient/hash marks were/are not scribed/etched into the turret housing but are an aluminum band glued to the turret housing.

I cleaned all of the pieces/parts w/ acetone.
Applied red loc tite to both parts w/ a q tip
wiped off the excess w/ a q tip

Seems to track....like any 3rd world country manufactured JUNK.

Just receive the scope, not yet mounted on the rifle I need rings but for the price the scope is very clear, the turret knobs are etched (not an aluminum band glued), made in the Philippines not Japan but not China. For the money is a good scope IMHO.
