I wanted to mount a lower power scope on my pump 30-06, something like 1.5-4.5 or 2-7x32. There is a place that is selling the a Nikon pro staff 2-7x32 for 180, should I get this one or put in a bit more extra cash and get the bushnell 3200?

3200 serries is junk, they get fuzzy ay max magnufication at longer ranges, they just have bad glass these days. I have seen 2 come back broken, one with a dail thay wouldn't turn the inside adjustment (out of the box never mounted, he came back with the gun to get it mounted and I discovered you couldn't bore site it, and one with a broken redicle off a 300 win mag Ibeilive. Considering how few we sell compaired to other scopes thats not a good ratio. We see lots of other bushnells come in broken as well, some the glass shattered on the big bores that they were suposadly rated for.

Prostaff all the way... Or better yet, get a vortex diamondback

Take a look to see which reticle it is, if it's the BDC on the 2-7 you can match it up with our Spot On software. Just Google "Nikon Spot On" and the site will come up.

Better choices out there.

have an Bushnell elite 5-15 clear as any glass iv looked through and even at max magnification its perfect. I don't think they make the 3200's anymore I heard they merged the 3200 and 4200 together but not sure if its true. either one will help with making holes in things.

i have a 3200 10x and love it i shoot from 0-600 with it only wish it had a 30 mm tube for some more adjustment i rant out and had to shim to get out to 600+ it tracks great and i love the very wide field of view, i looked through a nikon 8-32 i beleive and the it was very dim but that was at 32x my .02

The 3200 line from Bushnell was more or less dropped a few years back. All current Bushnell Elite scopes are made to what used to be called the 4200 standard and as of right now you can get a Bushnell Elite "4200" in 3-9x40 for sub 300 dollars. I have an Elite 3-9x40, it is a great scope, very bright and very clear and it does come with a lifetime warranty.
