Sorry guys if this has been brought up before, used the wonderful search function with no results.

Has anyone tried this scope? Looks pretty cool with the bullet drop reticles.
Any sponsor carry Nikon?

I bought a Monarch 3-12x42 a while ago, and I doubt that I will be buying another one. The optical quality is okay, but I expected a bit better for the price that these scopes normally sell at.

I just looked at the website. How do you know its calibrated for 1600 fps? To me that seems very strange. Also I think it should have AO as a bdc scope for rimfire seems redundant to me without AO.

My mistake, I was reading an article on it and they had different yardage for each circle......... said they were for a 1600 fps muzzle vel.
If you google nikon spot on......... it will take you to their bullet drop program where you can enter your ammo...etc

I have a Buckmasters 6-18x40SF on my .17 HMR, and I couldn't be happier. Looks like the new model Prostaff have even better light transmission than the Buckmasters, and at a lower pricepoint. Can't see how one can go wrong with it.

When I get another rimfire, I'm considering the Prostaff Rimfire also.
