So I guess no more warrenty

The Nikon rep indicated that they are still covered under warranty. Not sure how that would work if they needed to replace a scope but IMHO I think Nikon will take care of its scope customers one way or another as they are still a big company with many other products. I have a couple Nikon scopes and haven't had any issues with them so far. Time will tell.......

well sad day for us Nikon scope lovers, Nikon world wide sports optics is ceasing production, and will no longer manufactiure rifle scopes.......FS

Yeah, too bad. Not my favourite brand , but far superior to the Vortex crap. For the $ I think they are a good value and I always found them superior to the comparitively priced Vortex or Bushnell scopes.
