Hmmmmm

I am going to take the lack of response to being unsure.

unsure is not good so I will stick with the ones that have been proven.

You want proven, get a Redfield 3-12X. I have one with lots of trigger time on the M1A and it's stupidly sweet ;) Best bang for the buck bar none. Hell, I'd pit it against any scope on the market, it's that damn good.

It is the PERFECT M1A scope.

I won't rant on about it any more, bit it's the t**s :D

The prostaff is on sale at cabellas for what seems a good price.

I do believe the ProStaff models are on sale as Nikon has just replaced them with the ProStaff II. For the record I have a ProStaff II, and am very pleased with it. Crisp optics, robust enough, bright. Is it a Leica? Hell no. But it still quite a scope for $200.

Redfield is the only scope that has fogged for me in ah.............45 some years! Leupold has NEVER been an issue both on rifles and my hunting handguns!
Henry;)
