Nitro Express

Hey, they're not all super expensive. A Sabbati can be held for a good price now, ....it's not an H&H, but is still good and meets most needs. ....Even the Baikal meets some needs.
Once you're into them it becomes addictive, I know. ....450 Nitro, .470 Nitro, .550 Express, .510 Wells, .....and then there's the single shots, .....too many and still more that are interesting!! So what if each cartridge costs the price of a mickey,..it's better for your health and will make you smile!!!
 
"...made by a quality British gunmaker..." They sure are pretty though. Mind you, NE ammo is horrendously expensive stuff.

I still need to win the lotto, especially if I want to shoot Norma ammo ($130 for a box of 10 is NOT a deal!) but I was out the door with the rifle shipped from TradeEx to the top left corner of the NWT for under $9K. You could spend $9K easy if you were into LR rifles with good glass. Might as well buy a double. You'll never be truly happy if you let the opportunity slip past.
