No 1 Mk 3 Brass Discs on Canadian Rifles

Had a look in the seach function already. Google has not been helpful either. Realize that this might be a bit of a milsurp newbie question.

Did the Canadian marked (C broad arrow) enfields (no1mk3) have brass discs in the butts?

If so, what info did they typically contain?

Some did, some didn't.

Usually marked with a unit designator and date of issue.
