Well, anyone know where I can find one? preferably a repro. Also looking for the mounts, cheeck piece etc.. for the No4 Mk1

Does anyone know anything about the Lyman Alaskan scopes? Do they also use the same mounts? I have heard somewhere that they used those temporarily on the No4 Mk1(T)s

The Lyman Alaskan is a 2.5x , 7/8" scope and about 11" long . The model used on the No4T had a post reticule .
I bought mine from a fellow CGN'r awhile back . This one has a dot reticule and has raised my Longbranch to a new level of shooting .
I have a number of different types of Lyman scopes. All of which are built like tanks and can be used with the upmost confidence.

Photo'd here sitting on a ATI mount and low profile Weaver rings , however the ATI came loose and I switched back to the B-Square mount.
With some very simple fitting the B-Square mount is quite reliable and the Mkll sight can still be used.

This is a proper Alaskan in it's correct mount, on a current issue CF Sniper rifle.

Wow- excellent pics NS! Saved with all of my other ones of Long Branch TP snipers.
For a minute there I thought it was still an operational rifle.
