No.4 Mk.1 Savage

Well my Savage is coming along nicely....

I've found most of what I am looking for and have a leed on the remaining parts...

Most of the wood matches fairly well, (beech forestock, beech rear handguard and light walnut butt stock).

Hopefully I'll get a beech front hand guard :)

Can't wait to shoot her...:dancingbanana:

Yes, it is too much....but that is the MINIMUM asking price now for an all-matching No4Mk1*. If you don't want to pay $400, you won't go home with the rifle, because somebody else will pay $400.
Just a word of caution...there are some very industrious people out there who are jumping on this latest Lee-Enfield sales bonanza, offering parts-bin rifles that have been tarted up to look better than they are. If buying on the 'net, be sure to ask the right questions, even if they have a trader rating higher than Roberto Luongo.;)
there seems to be a few guys making these old ones seem better than they are, if anyone gets caught with one Im sure the buyer will be a man and take it back, did you get caught six star??
