I've a No.4 Mk.2 that needs refinishing, and while disassembling I found these stamps on the receiver, underneath the rear portion of the trigger guard. I can't find anything in Skennerton or my other books- any guesses?

Also, on the knox form- the bottom stamp of "44" something is a mystery to me, as is the "70" stamp at the top:

This is turning out to be a mixmaster: Long Branch butt and forend, and Fazakerly handguards, Long Branch foresight protector, upper and lower bands, mismatched C broad arrow bolt…
Unless I can come up with a correct Faz beech forend, I'll likely just refinish it and reassemble, but I'm curious- what are the correct stamps/marks for a No.4 Mk.2 foresight protector and bands? Were there differences between the Mk. 2 bits and previous Marks?
