Just need a price check on what a No 7 C Enfield Transit Chest goes for these days? They will of course fit a #4 Enfield as well. Condition is what can be expected from a 50-60 year old wooded transit box.

Depending on condition, $20-40. Gunshows are best sources as shipping is more than theyre worth. A really clean one with minimal wear (unlikely) may fetch more.

Shipping is the killer. There is a surplus store outside Montreal that will sell you all the chests you want for $25 a piece. But most of them have been baddly weathered. I bought 3 dozen of the worst imagineable ones just for the hardware, for $10 or $12 a piece and I drove to pick them up.
