With no LEH for me it looks like I'll have lots of time for mule deer this year.

Maybe I should try something crazy I've never done before like GOS elk in the Kootenays or something else like GOS moose in region Seven. Those antler restriction for moose look really confusing though.

I was ready to drive to Vanderhoof and beyond for a moose draw so why not drive the equivalent kilometres towards Cranbrook?

I bought that new truck with the BFG KO2s last year for more than going to the Superstore after all.

GOS in the Kootenays doesnt sound like a bad plan at all MD.
Just make sure you have someone with a backup if Mr. GB decides to investigate the gunshot.

Lots to hunt in b.c. I have been chasing blacktail, whitetail, mulies, elk, moose, sheep and goat anywhere I can in the general season for the past few years. People from all over the world come here to hunt, it's a shame that the outfitters enjoy selling our game. We should enjoy hunting it before the gov't screws us over on that too. If I get a draw then I will focus on that species, I put in for the harder to get draws and aim for mature animals. The rest of the time I enjoy the general seasons that we have, take your pick and explore our province. If you don't then it will be another thing to regret when your too old to chase after some of the hunting opportunities we have.
