I'm just curious to see what you all think of Harrison area. I'm a complete greenhorn when it comes to hunting, but I've been learning some of the basics from reading online and my rookie buddy as well. We've been out 3 times to Harrison so far this season, and have only seen 7 or 8 does. Last weekend was the first time we've even seen buck tracks, and most guys we've spoken with haven't had any sightings either. Is this area pretty much cleaned out? I'd love to find out if its something we're doing too...we typically get to the lower cut blocks before first light and hang out for a couple hours keeping quiet and remaining stationary (my buddy walks around a bit), but no dice. I've found a couple game trails and have gone back to one of them closer to sun down, but don't see anything. The only sightings that we've had were on the side of the road as we're moving to different areas, so I'm a little stumped. Any input would be awesome!

Cheers!

that side of the lake gets hunted hard by alot of people. go up further on the lillooet river. i have been in some nice areas have to like hiking to get to the good stuff

I tried a desperation trip at the end of the season there last year.

Waste of time. Try further up the Fraser Valley or the Coq.
