Same situation here in-regards to the property, I belong to the CCFR, CCSA and NFA I believe they cover me for hunting activities, am I wrong?

I can answer that, but I won't because I'm just someone on the interwebz who doesn't actually know. Ask the CCFR, CCSA, NFA if they insure you for "hunting activities." And make sure you get from them in writing what they mean by "hunting activities," and what they mean by "cover."

Yes, on some properties (Simcoe county forests for example) you're required to have insurance to hunt. I have also been asked if I had insurance when seeking permission to hunt on private property.
