No-lead bullets: are they readily available?

I am new to all this re-loading stuff. I've just ordered a pro-1000 by Lee.

I'll be re-loading .357 Mag and 30.30 win.

Since I am shooting on my own property in the wilderness, I am wondering about the possible dangers of accumulated lead deposits in the ground over many years of shooting in the same areas.

Are non-lead bullets available for both these loads above?

Are they much more expensive or less accurate or is there a downside to using them?

Bob, you'll have to shoot so many bullets to create an issue that you'll have no time to make a living. Metalic lead is a very small health risk, as long as you aren't sucking on them, the bullets in the ground are no issue. You'll get more lead exposure from the lead in the primers then the stuff you shoot. And being outdoors that won't be much of an issue either. Go forth and shoot.
(any leadless stuff is expensive. There is the winchester win-clean line that has the bullet totally encapsulated and a lead free primer, but I wouldn't bother myself)
 
There are some no-lead, all copper bullets. They're called Barnes TSX (for rifle) and Barnes XPB (For pistol/revolver). Very good stuff.

But they'll cost you rooughly 1$ a pop.
 
Don't worry about it. Metallic lead is rather inert, and nowhere near as dangerous as the 'sky is falling' eco-media portray.

Plus, where do you think it comes from in the first place? The ground
 
When we were kids we used to keep .177 pellets in our mouth (that is why I am so ####ed up). Metallic lead like other metals are poorly absorbed into biological systems. Lead is also rather inert as far as metals go and there are plenty of other far worse metal pollutants out there.

Wendy and the antis are beating the lead drum for a reason so be prepared.
