no luck on opening day

went out for a day of grouse with a bud in lanark ontario. saw one (too dark to shoot) and lifted one in mid day, seems like theres still too much cover yet. ran into a few nice mature bucks early in the morning(nie to see where they are hanging out)....went home emty handed....anyone else??

no season here yet, went for a walk in Simco County Forest, rose two at the exactly same spot that I spooke 3 last year, I think Ill leave them alone there this year

found some tracks of a coyote, I think after the deer season Ill set up to take the presure off in the area, last winter there were two running around, should have taken care of it then
