I was just recommending this rifle to a friend as a great way to get into the AR scene but now we can't find it on the website. I've always been able to find your products online even if they weren't in stock. Does this mean you won't be bringing any more in?
 
I heard that Norinco isn't making them anymore because they have a agreement with Colt that if they stoped making the M4's they would be allowed "officially" to make 1911's.

"As of 2013, the pistol is made under license instead of copying with Colt manufacturing machinery, due to an agreement between Norinco and Colt in order to stop Norinco from producing the Norinco CQ rifle."

Since the Patent on the Colt 1911 expired almost 100 years ago I fail to see how this could be accurate.

Also the patent on the AR-15 expired a long time ago as well.

Further, why would Norinco give a crap what Colt thinks, they can't sell them in the USA anyway.
 
Norinco will not get access to the US market for a long long time,and if dumbass Clinton gets in,it will be never,

Yeah, that sounds like a lot of bull.

CanAm, you didn't answer my question. Have these been pulled off the website because you won't be bringing more in? The lightweight profile is my favourite and I'd much rather recommend that to my buddy than a CQA with M4 style barrel.

We try to hide items we do not expect within 6 months. There is not eta on more of these, but they will come in again

I fully agree. Keep what you plan on getting back in stock online. Its nice to be able to add it to your wishlist and receive an email when it comes back in. Unfortunately I can only imagine how many emails they get from people who don't understand the fact that they don't have an ETA.
 
Glad to hear that you'll be getting some more in eventually. Guess I'll just have tell my friend to be patient.

Or buy 20" and swap it for the 14.5 barrel. Colt 653 replica would be pretty cool. Love A1 uppers.

Also some people don't understand fluctuating prices. Sure as hell SOMEONE would complain that "the rifle yesterday (but actually 8 month old listing) suddenly went up $100". I also find it funny that in other business forums on here people gripe because "the pages of the site are filled with hundreds of out of stock items"

Unfortunately, no matter how awesome a retailer is (like CanAm) people will find something to whine about (this is in no way in reference to the poster's I quoted, their remarks just made me think of my above rant)
