Well I made the jump Friday.

Being the cheap SoB that I am I picked up a Lee-1000 set-up for .38 Spec.

Put it together in 15 minutes (Including drilling the mounting holes and finding the tools to do so.)

Already cranked out 400+ rounds in less than 4 hours total time.
One powder spill (as I forgot to put in a SWC tip, whoops) and one crushed case that jumped sideways by the case feeder...

Damned.... Already bought peices to make a second Lee-1000 already for .40 S&W next. Damn.. Next I'll need one in .223 too...

$210 CDN + Tax for a full Lee-1000 already setup with dies. Damned good deal IMHO.

That's what I can crank out with my dillon 550 anyhow

Laugh It was my first time with the press and I didn't do it all in a row. More like batches of 50 & 100 a couple times. Since Friday I've now made over 1300 .38 Special in about 7 hours total (Including the original 4 hours)

1300 rounds and only one powder spill (Done in the first 50 rounds) and one deformed case that was fixed and then reloaded.

Suffice to say that I'm going to have to get the 2nd one setup for .40 now...

And another turret plate and dispenser for .357 mag...

And one for .223

Damned progressives... Who the hell said reloading was cheaper.......
