Ahh, a US assembled optic with cheap Asian parts..
Take advantage of the vortex life time guarantee. If it fails a second time send them a letter and get an upgrade.
Not correct, virtually everything is US manufactured except for the glass.
Not really as I had one particular scope fail three times and was denied. I will never purchase another product regardless of their warranty. I would prefer a superior brand which costs more and a limited warranty then a lifetime of junk.
sorry I should of been more clear, it was for an upgrade. They did replace in kind.Denied a third fourth replacement or denied the upgrade?? Either way that sounds like a bogus warranty to me.
