Hi,

I just picked up an AR based rifle and I'm having issue finding one or two spots to buy all my accessories.

Where is the best place to buy all the bling and not pay shipping for each item? So far Amazon.ca seems like the best best, but most of the ships from china.

Thanks,

what accessories do you want?

A $30 red dot would not be considered a quality item. I would say the bottom is a vortex sparc or somthing from Burris, you get what

flashlight, fore grip, laser, red dot sight, sling and backup iron sights

AR type rimfire, I was looking at a Barska Red dot, it's the only part I care about quality.

guessing mossberg rimfire?

barska is NOT quality, neither is NCstar

good flashlight and mount min $100
foregrip $20
laser $200+
red dot $100+ (bushnell)
sling $20+ depending what you want
magpul BUIS $80+

Well if the only part you care about in quality, I would stay away from Barska! lol

What type of rimfire? Mossberg "tactical" 22, Smith and Wesson restricted .22 Mp15-22, Ruger?

Saying that, if it is for rimfire, you can easily get away with airsoft parts. Check out magpul PTS on ebay. Lost of good plinker dress up.
For rimfire you definately dont need a 100$ flashlight. Way overkill for a plinker.

Thanks for the info, I don't want to put double the rifles cost on it as accessories but at the same time I don't want junk. The never ending battle I guess

You have EE Access? If your not opposed to used you could probably find decent quality items and save a little money as well. One thing about a lot of the things to mentioned is people buy them, play with them for a bit, get bored, and finally sell them off.

That's just the beginning. If you ever want to get into long range precision shooting, it's pretty common for the starting price of your scope to equal the base price of the rifle, and then you end up with stuff like $2000 for the rifle, $2500 for the scope, $1000 for a chassis, $300 for a bipod...on and on.

I dropped around $3000 on my AR building it from the ground up, love the frankenbeast, it's just the way I want. Well...I haven't decided on a flashlight yet... and maybe I could use a different buttstock;)

All of the retailers mentioned carry good products but maybe it's not going to be in stock all at the same time.

Well here is the thing. Its just a .22 your running. A cheap barska red dot is crap, but will run fine on that .22. Ive got a cheap little barska on my ruger .22 nomad. Yes its crap but it does work fine for a .22 setup. I wouldnt want to use it on anything more than that though. What kind of rifle did you buy? Is it a mossberg 715?
