No pinned PCC picture thread?

If your asking, are these two similar things the same, I'd say no they are not the same and have some fairly obvious differences

If you want to break it down further, I would not even call the second gun a "carbine" I would put it in the Sub(Machine) gun box much the same as an MP5 or Uzi.

PCC is not a perfect catch all term for pistol caliber non handgun weapons.

The word carbine has a longer history of use and generally describes something shorter then a typical rifle and longer then a sub (machine)gun.

Good point about not being a "carbine" Can-down. But I'm not sure I agree with "Sub(Machine) gun" label given they are not and never were full auto. Given that in Canada they are all technically rifles, maybe pistol calibre short barreled rifle?

That's why I put it in brackets.... they are semi auto sub guns not sub machine guns.... decedent from the sub machine gun concept but not select fire.

I would have assumed the Swiss weapon would have a select fire option availlable for the chosen few, even though yours is semi only.

What are the views when it comes to playing IPSC or IDPA. I asked a couple of years ago and a friend said he saw a similar set up at the US Nationals - IDPA. The fact it played at the US Nationals is not a confirmation. Has anyone asked recently?

Take Care

I have a glock 22 set up in that same chassis with a kkm 7 inch barrel it is deadly accurate and 100% reliable makes for an amazing little package with serious bite

Hey Bob,

I’ve definitely seen some people run these set ups at comp.

Specifically for IPSC, I can’t quite say. Most would rather run their standard handguns or PCC instead of this.

For 3 gun however, I do see the “fun” in it.

IMO such a weird case use when handguns are not “common” and you throw them into a chassis, where PCCs are everywhere.
