No SUB-2000 reviews?

I bought one over a decade ago from GoldnGuns in Surrey, cost about $900 back then. It was a non-restricted one using S&W mags. They're a decent plinker up to 50 yds, don't expect great accuracy but will put all rds easily into a 5" circle. The only thing that bugs me is the location of the ejection port and your eye when shooting. Gases flow up and right into your eyeball (Tavor does the same thing). Gets to be a little annoying. That's why I really like the RFB (gases out the front) and am on the waiting list at Reliable.

I'm waiting on one. Unfortunately, Gary (From Wanstalls) told me that there was a mix-up at the plant and they accidently included .40 SW mags with the glock mag models rather than the 9mm mags.

I should be able to do a review if I have the time, but it may not be a full one (IE function test) unless a Kootenays-area Gunnut can either sell or loan me a glock 17 mag...

That is dumb. Gary sells glock mags. He could have just switched it for you right there.

I once used .40 ammo in a 9mm Storm mag and it did work however it also jammed often

I would have tested it with 9mm. With the Storm there have been reports that the 40W&W Berretta mag will work with 13-14 rounds of 9mm. I can't confirm this, but I would have tried if it shipped with one accidentally.

craziness! i found an american dealer that sells the slightly shorter version for $280 i wonder why there is close to $500 difference. importing must be really expensive

Yeah apparently it is $200 per rifle for the export permit! :jerkit:

The gun is hardly worth $300 let alone $700.

This has got to be the biggest rip off in firearms history!

And yes I have fired one and had lots of opportunity to play with and strip one.

There is a difference between an inflated price and a ridiculous one.;)

I Agree, but thats canada, if you want one of these rifles then that's what you have to pay over here.

rfb can be had for under $1400 in USA but we pay $2400
I can pay these prices and not loose any sleep over it, I am sure many others can also afford it but choose not to.

Got my Sub2000 cant wait to get out and try it. All my friends want on now. The shop also had a RFB in that was waiting its owner. I gave it a good look and wow are these things ever cool. It is heavier then I expected and had no muzzle brake. I may have to save up for one.
