No trail boss?!?! Next best subsonic .223 recipe?

Because trail boss seems to be unobtainium, does anyone have any subsonic load experience or suggestions for .223 using imr 4198 or Hodgdon 4895? or better yet a line on where i can get my hands on some trail boss? lol Going to be using a variety of ammo from 55gr fmj to 80gr A-max. Just looking to expand my reloading experience.

if you were using a lead bullet then pistol powders like Red dot, green dot and Unique would work. the lyman load books list these. I personally load subsonic 30 cal loads this way. google light 223 loads.

cool thanks for the info! still trying to find loads with the specific powders i have on hand. not coming up with much credible info with a google search unfortunately

hodgdon's site lists lots of loads for imr 4198 and h4198, not sure if they are full power or not though.

Yea they have full power and reduced loads but nothing in the way of subsonic that I could find

contact Hodgdon and ask them. I don't see much on line, might not be safe.
